How to stack loose flanges
Starting off with how NOT to stack your loose flanges. Stacking your flanges directly on wood will damage the flange face because the wood pieces rub off the mill varnish. The wood will also hold moisture against the flange face which would then lead to rust and pitting.
Whn you properly stack your loose flanges the raised face of the flange should be off the floor and the wood, this keeps the raised face protected from pitting and keeps the mill varnish intact. You can also stack loose flanges without wood if you have our flangeMAGS or flangeDOTS. You simple stick them to the flange face to keep it protected and now you are able to safety stack your flanges. Alright guys that’s it!
