How to Clean & Back Blow Pipe With Water

So first we are going to attach a jetting head to our hose and pull that through the pipe by a rope. If you guys are interested in a detailed description on how to do this, we already covered this in a previous video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHUa-I55KKQ

Now that the hose is through the pipe, we are going to run water through to clean out any debris and dirt that is left inside it. Once we feel like that all the contamination is out, we are ready to begin the drying process.

To begin removing the standing water in the pipe we turn on our compressor that is attached to our hose and slowly drag it along the inside of the pipe. To remove all of the extra water you may need to run the jetting head through the pipe several times. But keep in mind that you will not be able to remove every single drop of water from the inside of the pipe.

The goal is to remove all of the standing water and as much water on the walls of the pipe as you can in order to speed up the drying process. Now that we removed the bulk of the standing water from the bottom of our pipe, we are going to leave it outside to finish drying completely. Make sure that you reference your projects drying requirements to ensure that you meet your qualifications.

Alright guys that’s it! Make sure that you are always following proper safety procedures when you are drying pipe.
