Will a flangeDOT stay on in a hot & humid environment?
A frequently asked question we get about our flangeDOT is whether or not our DOTS will stay on in hot and humid environments. Today we are going to answer that question for you, let’s get started!
We are starting with an 8” flangeDOT in our pipe spool. Next, we have a heater that we are going to place directly in front of the dot to warm it up. After a few minutes of high heat, the dot is now up to 179 degrees. Finally, we are going to remove the flangeDOT from the pipe spool. As you can see the flangeDOT remained perfectly intact, and still leaves behind no residue when you remove it.
