Cameron Liquefaction Project

After construction is complete, Cameron LNG will be able to produce approximately 13.5 million tons of LNG per year utilizing three liquefaction trains in Hackberry, Louisiana. McDermott and Chiyoda are working together for the engineering, procurement and construction of this project.

Once Bechtel, the EPC on the project, has completed construction on this plant, it will include an ethane cracker unit and three polyethylene units along with a steam power plant to power the cracker plant as well as provide power to the power grid of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.

Located in Lévis, Québec, Canada, the Jean Gaulin refinery has a capacity of 235,000 barrels per day and has been in operation since 1971. Many upgrades have been made since then, such as a new crude unit and a distillate desulfurization unit, allowing it to produce everything from diesel to butane.
